Zampino's - Jason Edwards

Zampino’s drum instructor Jason Edwards has been touring with Kent, Ohio’s Jessica Lea Mayfield a.k.a. Chitlin’ this year all around the country. They began with a three week West Coast tour opening for The Avett Brothers at sold out theaters which started in Phoenix, AZ and ended in Vancouver, Canada. A second tour with The Avett Brothers brought the band across major cities from Minneapolis to Chicago ending with a home town show at the Beachland Ballrom in Cleveland, OH. Recently, Jessica and the band shared the stage with the band Cake at a few shows in Indiana, Michigan and Colorado.
Next, Jason will be taking off with Jessica and the band for another three week West Coast tour with Memphis, Tennessee’s own Lucero. This tour will start in Albuquerque, NM and end in Seattle,WA. They will be performing at the 10th Annual Roots Music Festival called the Pickathon in Portland, OR on Aug. 2nd and 3rd
Finally, in late September Jason will be touring with Jessica Lea Mayfield through Texas, Louisiana and Georgia opening for The Black Keys from Akron, OH. Jessica's debut album produced by Dan Auerbauch of The Black Keys is due to be released in Sept. 08'.
